Roger Da Forno

MG YA Saloon registration NKK 472.
The car is a 1950 model first registered in November of that year in Kent. I've been the custodian of the car for 15 years. It was
restored in the late 1980's/early 1990's by an RAF engineer in Lincolnshire.I acquired it from Sussex Sports Cars in Lewes but prior to that it had "lived" in the Gloucestershire area and in North Wales so it's been around a bit! It has a Type 9 five speed gearbox fitted and electronic ignition and is quite okay in non-motorway traffic.Everything
on it still works - including the Jackall jacking system and the clock!

Craig 'Richard Roberts Archive'

The Richard Roberts Archive in Stockport was gifted this 1937 Austin Ruby about two years ago. It promptly blew up its engine but after that was rebuilt it has performed wonderfully since. It has been driven as far as north Wales, covering 300 miles in that particular weekend. We take it out in all weathers and we've now adapted to the weak brakes and vicious clutch. It loves cruising at 35mph, and we've even seen 45, but it gets a bit scary then.
